Every HFSA family is required to:
Volunteer with HFSA for 7 hours or buyout the hours at a rate of $30/hour
Rink Monitor
What does a Rink Monitor do?
- Check all skaters onto the ice
- Collect the buy in money. Note: If the buy in is for a one hour session, they must pay for the whole hour.
- Play Music (*Remember those in a lesson can bump their music by their coach)
- Watch for skater safety and skater participation
What happens if I can't make the time I signed up for?
- 1 or more weeks in advance you can change your time
- If less than a week, you will need to find your own replacement to fill in for you
*Leaving the rink monitoring unattended in your name will add an additional hour to your volunteer hours.

Fundraising
HFSA participates in different types of fundraisers during the year. Each has a unique purpose and is designed to help manage skating costs and make the program available to as many skaters as possible.
